Job description
As an eCommerce Merchandising Specialist at Stanley, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the online shopping experience and driving growth in the EMEA markets. You are responsible for the entire website experience, ensuring that the site offers the right products and information for each audience. This includes optimizing the Shopify storefront to maximize customer engagement and conversion rates, maintaining and updating product pages to be visually appealing and SEO-optimized, highlighting our lead generation for new items, enhancing site navigation, curating category pages, and overseeing blog content. The ultimate goal is to create a seamless, customized online experience that meets the needs of every audience segment, making it easy for them to find exactly what they’re looking for.
You'll collaborate with marketing, design, and supply chain teams to facilitate seamless product launches and promotions. This includes coordinating with creatives to ensure product descriptions and digital assets align with brand messaging and identity. You'll also manage inventory, ensuring best-selling products are always in stock, and assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns tailored to specific market needs.
Your focus on enhancing the customer journey will involve optimizing site navigation, design, and checkout processes. By implementing strategies from the DTC manager and CRO/UX Lead, you'll work to reduce cart abandonment and drive up the average order value through strategic bundling, cross-sells, and product recommendations.
Regular performance tracking and reporting will be part of your responsibilities, providing senior management with actionable insights to refine the merchandising strategies. It is preferred that you have a deep understanding of regional market trends and consumer behaviors to effectively adapt the offerings.
Furthermore, you will integrate Stanley's sustainability mission into customer interactions and product pages, developing narratives that capture the interests of the eco-conscious consumer. Staying current with industry trends and eCommerce innovations will be essential, as you identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and strategies to keep Stanley competitive.
Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with various teams to ensure cohesive execution of the brand's vision across digital platforms. Your role not only involves implementing strategic initiatives but also continuously improving the online experience, setting the stage for Stanley's growth as a premier lifestyle brand in the EMEA region.

About the team:
The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist EMA will report directly to the eCommerce Manager. The team is made up seven other collegues, with three direct collegues in the D2C webshop team (CRO/UX Specialist, Performance Specialist, Customer Succes Manager). You will also work closely with the Marketing team. Furthermore, you will work with various external agencies. The role requires frequent interaction with different disciplines within this setup, making cross-functional collaboration key. You will also collaborate closely with the U.S. team, aligning on key initiatives and ensuring consistency across both markets.

Who are you?
You have 3+ years of experience as a eCommerce Merchandising Specialist. You have a proven track record in eCommerce merchandising and extensive experience in using Shopify, you excel at optimizing online product presentations and driving conversion rates. You possess expertise in understanding regional market trends and consumer behaviors, especially within the EMEA markets. In the dynamic environment of Stanley, collaboration is key. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and supply chain, to ensure cohesive execution of strategies. With your innovative mindset, you are excited to explore new technologies, including AI tools, to enhance their merchandising efforts. As someone who is both data-driven and creative, you leverage data insights to drive decisions while enhancing customer engagement and brand storytelling.
Furthermore:
- University or four-year college Degree (BA or BS in related field) or equivalent experience;
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Strong communication skills;
- You enjoy a dynamic, fast-moving setting;
- You can work in Photoshop, to change minor details.

- A job for 32 - 40 hours;
- Competitive salary €55.000 - €70.000 a year (including holiday allowance);
- Bonus of 10%, based on organisation and personal performance;
- Contract will be 1 year definite with 1 month probation period and intention after this one year for an indefinite period;
